Dentist in Studio City, CA

Our office is a straight shot west of Studio City on Ventura Blvd, with the option of the 101 as an added convenience. We are close enough, and flexible enough with scheduling, that we can work with our patients to find the best times for them to get the specialized general dentistry Dr. Wolfe provides.

Dr. Elizabeth Wolfe, DDS, the Encino dentist who treats Studio City patients at Encino Gentle Dental

What tends to bring Studio City patients west

Cosmetic work, mostly, and a preference for having it done by the same dentist each time. Cosmetic dentistry here covers whitening, veneers, bonding, clear aligners and ceramic crowns — and it is planned around how a tooth functions, not only how it photographs. Dr. Wolfe chooses ceramic restorations for how they behave in a real mouth over years, which is a slower conversation than a shade guide and a deposit.

Alongside that: general dentistry, deep cleanings, TMJ and jaw joint care, laser dentistry, and sleep and airway health for adults who are tired of being tired.

Scheduling around a working day

If your work day can’t fit a mid-morning appointment, we have early and late options: Fridays from 7:00am, Wednesdays until 5:30pm, and Saturdays by appointment. This can hopefully help you avoid heavy traffic on Ventura Blvd or the 101.

If the chair is the problem

We have seen some patients who say they are busy but are actually just avoiding the dental chair. If dentistry has been on the list for years rather than months, sedation options and a longer, slower appointment are available. Our page on care for anxious patients explains how the visit is run.

Getting here from Studio City

From Studio City, Ventura Boulevard runs west through Sherman Oaks and into Encino. The 101 is usually faster outside peak — exit at Hayvenhurst and come south to Ventura. The office sits between Woodley and Hayvenhurst, at the intersection of Ventura Blvd and Libbit Ave.

The office is at 16311 Ventura Blvd, #1296, Encino, CA 91436. The building has valet parking and we validate it — partially for routine cleanings, in full for first appointments and any treatment appointment. Worth knowing before you circle the block looking for a meter.

Hours: Tuesday 8:30–5:00 · Wednesday 8:30–5:30 · Thursday 8:00–5:00 · Friday 7:00–3:00 · Saturday by appointment. Closed Sunday and Monday. Dr. Wolfe is in network with Aetna; with other PPOs the practice is out of network by choice and bills as a courtesy. The full picture on payment and financing is on our insurance and payments page.

Call (818) 788-1231 or book online. If you are new, say so on the phone — and if you are nervous about being here at all, say that too. It changes how the appointment is run. If you want the money side clear first, here is how insurance and payment work here.
